About the Author

AJ Helms is the pen name of a fantasy writer currently living in the American Midwest. AJ writes bright fantasy full of strong characters, bad decisions and joy of the little things. When not writing she can be found lurking near the coffeepot and obsessing over foxes.

AI usage at the Fiction Seed

Like it or not, AI is now firmly entrenched in modern life. What direction it will take, how we use it and whether or not this is a good or bad thing largely falls to every individual to determine for ourselves.

The Fiction Seed does not and will not use generative AI. It does not and will not use AI to edit, to write, or ideate prompts, posts or stories. It does not and will not use AI to create prompts or to generate images. All prompts, newsletters, blog posts and images are human-conceived and human-created.

While there are arguments for the use of AI-assistance in fiction writing, there is no place at the Fiction Seed for these arguments.

In short: everything done here is being done by one very tired human being.
